Come join us at Moosehead Lake for Moose Mainea and region-wide events for the whole family!
The second annual Moose Mainea 5K & 10K walk/run will be held May 20, 2017. This race will be held in Greenville, Maine on beautiful Moosehead Lake on a road course with some mild hills. Proceeds from all of the Moosehead Lake Region Chamber of Commerce events benefit our region through marketing, programming and community enrichment.
This is a professionally timed race!
Register by April 22nd: 5K-$20 10K-$30
Registration on or after April 23rd: 5K-$25 10K $35
All participants who register before April 23rd will receive our commemorative 2017 race t-shirt! The first 100 race finishers will receive the Moose Mainea 5K/10K custom medal! Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. No dogs, please.

Moosehead Area Artisans Art Show – June 24Join us June 24,2017 at the Historic Greenville Junction Depot at Moosehead Lake as local artisans showcase their talents in many mediums for all to enjoy. On that Saturday from 10am to 2pm the Depot will be open with art from artists like Milt Christianson, Bonita Doughty, Robin Gardella and Greenville School Students. Stroll through the building and enjoy the different mediums of art and enjoy the history of the Greenville Junction Depot.There is no cost for the show, although donations will be accepted to help the Depot with its future plans while showcasing our area artists.Refreshments for purchase and entertainment will be provided as well.If anyone is interested in participating and they are residents of the Moosehead Lake Area, Please contact Cheri Goodspeed at 207-280-0999 for more information.
